Finnair Increases Flights Between Helsinki and London Heathrow

Finnair is expanding its London–Helsinki schedule by adding a fifth daily flight starting next month. The additional service begins on March 30, departing London Heathrow (LHR) at 7:35 p.m. and arriving in Helsinki (HEL) at 12:35 a.m. The return leg leaves Helsinki at 4:30 p.m. and arrives in London at 5:30 p.m.

The new frequency increases capacity on a popular route, offering passengers more travel options and greater flexibility. Finnair says the extra flight responds to strong demand from both Finnish travelers and passengers from the U.K. who rely on Finnair’s convenient connections through Helsinki to destinations across Asia.

Fredrik Charpentier, Finnair’s sales director for Europe West and North America, commented that the added service supports continued growth on the London–Helsinki route and provides more seats for customers traveling for business, leisure, or onward connections.

Passengers can expect the added frequency to improve scheduling choices for early-evening departures from London and mid-afternoon returns from Helsinki, while maintaining options for long-haul connections via Finnair’s Helsinki hub.
