A new chapter for Saudi Arabia begins with the official opening of The Jeddah EDITION, the brand’s 20th property in the city. Located on the Jeddah Corniche—a 19-mile coastal promenade along the Red Sea—the hotel opened on May 2 and sits a short drive from landmarks including Al-Balad and The Red Sea Mall. Guests also enjoy views of the Jeddah Yacht Club and the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix circuit.

Developed through a collaboration between EDITION and design firm Yabu Pushelberg, the hotel offers 52 guestrooms and 11 suites, including two penthouses. Facilities include a rooftop terrace with a pool, a spa, a gym, two lounges and a signature restaurant led by Chef Cédric Vongerichten.
Guests enter a lobby defined by soaring ceilings and a striking orange acrylic sphere by artist Vincent Leroy. The Lobby Lounge is bright and airy, designed to echo Saudi Arabian cultural motifs and the colors of Jeddah’s sunsets. The Lobby Bar features a bespoke royal purple billiard table by Blatt Billiards and oak coffee tables, serving locally roasted coffee, a selection of teas and handcrafted cocktails throughout the day and evening.

The hotel’s signature restaurant, Maritime, pairs French and Asian influences with dishes such as local shrimp dumplings finished with lemongrass beurre blanc and caviar. Non-alcoholic cocktails like the Saffron Spritz accompany the menu, and the restaurant’s terrace overlooks mature 150-year-old olive trees.
Rooms and suites offer views of either the Red Sea or the Formula 1 track and are appointed with custom furnishings, inset leather headboards, freestanding bathtubs and EDITION’s signature Le Labo toiletries. Thoughtful details and modern comforts create a refined coastal retreat for travelers.
The two-bedroom penthouse spans more than 2,500 square feet and includes two en-suite bathrooms, a generous living room, a dining room with a 10-seat marble table and a landscaped wrap-around terrace—ideal for entertaining or relaxing while taking in panoramic views.
