New Nonstop Flights to Kenya: Safari Adventures Await

In time for Kenya Airways’ inaugural non-stop service between New York (JFK) and Nairobi (NBO) launching in October, Classic Escapes presents a revised 12-day Kenya: The Original Safari Destination experience.

This thoughtfully designed itinerary follows the routes of classic safaris and delivers close encounters with iconic African wildlife, from lions and elephants to hippos, zebras and giraffes. Travelers will also meet local community members and conservationists working to protect wildlife and cultural traditions across the region.

A guaranteed departure is scheduled for Nov. 1–11, 2018, with additional departure dates available on request. Further departures for 2019 will be announced.

The program visits a range of celebrated locations, including Nairobi, Samburu Reserve, Buffalo Springs Reserve, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Lake Nakuru National Park and the Maasai Mara. Notable stops include the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, the Karen Blixen House (the former home of the Out of Africa author), the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife Nature Center and the Jane Goodall Institute chimpanzee sanctuary.

Priced from $4,295 per person, the journey includes luxury accommodations, all meals as specified in the itinerary, airport transfers and emergency evacuation insurance.
