Guests at Four Seasons Hotel Boston can now enjoy a new complimentary amenity: a grab-and-go room stocked with snacks and beverages. Located on each of the hotel’s six guestroom floors, The Vaults are accessible with guestroom keys and feature individual, distinctive décor that complements the hotel’s refined yet playful atmosphere.
“We continually strive to innovate and enhance the guest experience,” said Michael Pedder, general manager, Four Seasons Hotel Boston. “The Vaults have quickly become a favorite amenity for guests of all ages—whether visiting with us for leisure or business.”

The Vaults are stocked with a thoughtful mix of snacks—from popcorn, chips and candy to nuts and dried fruits—and include whimsical touches such as jelly bean dispensers. A selection of cold beverages is also available for guests to take as they please.
Each Vault is decorated with a playful eye: wallpaper depicting Benjamin Franklin blowing bubblegum, artwork that evokes a 1960s science-fiction vibe, and other creative design elements that give every floor its own personality.
Jim Peters, director of creative at Four Seasons Hotel Boston, led the Vault concept as a personal passion project. Peters aimed to expand the traditional minibar into a more social, accessible and memorable experience for guests.
“I was looking for a way to expand the minibar experience for guests, whether on their way out the door to explore the city or snuggling into their Four Seasons bed for the night to watch a movie,” Peters said. “We infused playfulness and humor across both the décor and the selection of goodies to ensure that all guests experience that ‘kid-in-a-candy-store’ joy upon entering the space.”
Since opening, The Vaults have been well received by visitors seeking convenience and a touch of fun. By combining complimentary refreshments with imaginative design, the hotel reinforces its commitment to thoughtful, guest-focused amenities that enhance every stay.
