Cayman Islands Launches Ready-to-Cook Meal Kit Delivery Service

This summer, the distinctive flavors of the Cayman Islands can be delivered straight to your door. The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism has partnered with the meal kit company Chef’d to offer easy-to-prepare kits that bring the island’s signature Caribbean dishes into your kitchen, making a tropical taste experience affordable and accessible without leaving home.

Through Sept. 15, visitors to the Chef’d website can browse five specially curated meal kits developed by local Cayman chefs. These kits showcase authentic island flavors and draw inspiration from the territory’s more than 200 restaurants.

Each kit contains pre-portioned ingredients and step-by-step instructions, designed for home cooks of varying skill levels. The menu highlights include blackened mahi mahi, guava‑glazed pork chops, piña colada chicken, curried chicken, and a rum‑infused chocolate bread pudding for dessert, all reflecting the spicy, sweet, and tropical profiles associated with Cayman cuisine.

To further promote the collaboration, the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism is running a giveaway: a six-night luxury stay for two at the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort. Entries can be submitted on the Chef’d website through Sept. 15.

These meal kits offer a convenient way to explore Cayman culture through food—whether you’re planning a future visit or simply craving island flavors tonight. The partnership emphasizes local culinary talent and the vibrant blend of Caribbean ingredients that define Cayman dishes, while making it simple to recreate those tastes at home.
