Qatar Airways Qsuite Arrives in the U.S.: First Routes & Dates

Qatar Airways’ innovative Qsuite will make its debut on U.S. routes between Doha and two major gateways: New York (JFK) and Washington, D.C. (IAD). Service with the Qsuite begins on December 16 for the New York route and January 16 for the Washington, D.C. route.

The Qsuite introduces industry-first features to business class. Passengers can enjoy a double bed option and private, customizable suites that can be configured for up to four people thanks to adjustable privacy panels and movable TV monitors. These features enhance privacy and flexibility, allowing travelers to tailor their cabin space for rest, work, or socializing.

Günter Saurwein, Vice President for the Americas at Qatar Airways, said the Qsuite will elevate premium international travel by delivering a first-class experience within the business-class cabin. The product showcases the airline’s focus on innovation and on providing a superior passenger experience.

The U.S. launch of the Qsuite also marks Qatar Airways’ 10th anniversary of service to the United States, underscoring its continued investment in key transatlantic markets and commitment to enhancing long-haul travel for business and leisure travelers alike.

Onboard, Qsuite customers can expect enhanced comfort and privacy, with seats that convert into fully flat beds and modular partitions that allow groups to create a shared space or individuals to enjoy a secluded suite. The movable monitors provide additional flexibility for in-flight entertainment and meetings, making the cabin adaptable to both relaxation and productivity.

Beyond the cabin itself, the Qsuite experience typically includes elevated service, thoughtful amenities, and dining offerings designed for international business travelers. The introduction of this product on JFK and IAD routes signals Qatar Airways’ strategy to offer a consistent premium experience on its most important U.S. routes.

Passengers traveling between Doha and New York or Washington, D.C. after the announced start dates can look forward to reserving seats in the Qsuite and experiencing the new configurations and amenities firsthand. As the product rolls out, travelers will gain access to one of the most private and versatile business-class offerings currently available on long-haul international flights.
