Princess Cruises has revealed the design and features of Majestic Princess, the newest addition to its global fleet. The ship’s inaugural sailing departs April 4, 2017: a five-day Adriatic voyage round-trip from Rome, calling in Kotor and Corfu. Following that debut, Majestic Princess will operate a variety of European itineraries—seven-, 14-, 21- and 28-day cruises—departing from Rome, Barcelona or Athens. On May 14, 2017, the ship will reposition to Dubai and Singapore before arriving at her new homeport in Shanghai, where the first home-port cruise departs July 11, 2017.
Majestic Princess combines elegant design, diverse dining and distinctive onboard experiences. Highlights include:
- Global dining options across venues such as Chef’s Table Lumiere, Crown Grill & Bar, Alfredo’s, Harmony, Le Bistrot and the World Fresh Marketplace
- A refined interior aesthetic inspired by international travel, featuring European marble, mosaic tile floors, polished wood finishes and luxurious fabrics
- More than 80 percent of staterooms with private balconies for enhanced sea views
- The new Princess Luxury Bed, offering a custom-made mattress and premium linens for improved sleep comfort
- Large-scale musical productions—Fiera and Fantastic Journey—staged with world-class singers, dancers and elaborate choreography
- Movies Under the Stars presented on one of the largest outdoor screens at sea
- Water Color at Sea, an industry-first water-and-light show exclusive to the ship
- SeaWalk, the industry’s first glass-floor walkway that extends beyond the ship’s edge for spectacular views
- SeaView Bar, featuring flair bartending with panoramic seascapes
