LOT Polish Airlines Launches New Direct Route to [Destination]

LOT Polish Airlines announced new nonstop service to the United States. Beginning June 1, 2019, LOT will operate four weekly flights between Warsaw (WAW) and Miami (MIA) using a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. Tickets are available now.

Flights will operate on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Departures from Warsaw are scheduled at 12:05 p.m., with arrivals in Miami at 5:30 p.m. Return flights from Miami depart at 8:05 p.m. and arrive in Warsaw at 12:15 p.m. Passengers can connect onward from Warsaw to numerous destinations across Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

“Miami is currently one of the largest markets in the United States so far not served by LOT. It is the first such convenient connection between Central and Eastern Europe and Florida. Miami is not only a perfect holiday destination but also an important business centre in the United States. Currently, almost half a million passengers per year travel between Eastern Europe and Florida. I am convinced that many passengers from Poland and the United States will take advantage of our latest offer,” said Rafał Milczarski, CEO of LOT Polish Airlines.

“We eagerly look forward to welcoming LOT Polish Airlines’ Warsaw service next summer,” added Lester Sola, aviation director, Miami-Dade County. “We are proud to be their first destination in Florida and to be part of their ongoing expansion into North America.”

Miami becomes LOT’s 14th long-haul destination and its sixth in North America. The airline, which is expanding rapidly, expects to serve about 9 million passengers this year across more than 100 destinations. LOT recently added its 11th Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner to the fleet and plans to introduce four more by the end of next year.
