Arrival / Check-In: I was pleased to stay at SLS Beverly Hills during my visit to Los Angeles. Having stayed at several Starwood properties, I found the SLS in Beverly Hills stood out with a distinctive, contemporary vibe. The staff greeted me warmly at check-in and the process was efficient. Although I arrived slightly early, the team prioritized the housekeeping inspection so my room could be prepared sooner. While I waited, Christian—friendly and professional—stored my luggage and suggested I visit the pool. The lobby was stylish and lively, and I even noticed a few celebrity sightings during my brief time there.
Guest Quarters: I received an upgrade to a suite as a Starwood Preferred Guest, which I always appreciate. The room offered generous storage—more closet and drawer space than I have in my New York apartment—which made settling in effortless. Highlights included a very comfortable bed, a large bathroom, and an eye-catching entertainment center with a glass overlay on the flat-screen television. Behind the bed was a desk area, and the suite also had a separate table suitable for workspace, making it convenient for both relaxation and productivity.
Services & Amenities: The pool area on the sixth floor felt like an elegant outdoor living room. On a sunny day it was an inviting place to relax and enjoy city views. I also visited the fourth floor to see the fitness center and the Ciel spa. The gym was spacious and outfitted with new Life Fitness equipment. The spa entrance, all-white and serene, exuded a calm, restorative atmosphere. I heard positive comments about the on-site restaurant, and I plan to try it on a future visit.
The Experience: Overall, my stay was exceptional with no complaints. The attentive service, comfortable suite, and well-maintained facilities made the visit memorable. I look forward to returning to SLS Beverly Hills on my next trip to Los Angeles.
