Scotland Road Trip: Scenic Views and Local Cuisine Trail

Savor Scotland’s scenery and cuisine on a six-night culinary journey from April through July with Scottish Delights, an Enchanting Journeys program led by Carolyn Robb of Sceptre Tours. Robb, who served as personal chef to Prince Charles and Princess Diana, will accompany small groups for an intimate exploration of Edinburgh and the Highlands that blends food, culture and landscape.

The itinerary highlights authentic Scottish experiences: an Officer’s Wardroom dinner aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia, a Royal Lochnagar whisky tasting, cheese and smoked salmon tastings, visits with local artisan food producers, and a guided foraging experience. Guests will also take part in preparing a “royal” dinner under Robb’s guidance and enjoy a tour of Balmoral Castle.

Included in the program are daily full Scottish breakfasts, entrance to the Palace of Holyroodhouse and Balmoral Castle, a day trip to St. Andrews, round-trip economy airfare to Edinburgh, airport transfers, and accommodations at The Place in Edinburgh and the Deeside Inn in Ballater. Departure dates for the season are April 17, May 22, June 26, July 10 and September 11.

Rates are per person based on double occupancy and reflect departures from major U.S. cities: New York ($6,870), Chicago ($6,953) and Los Angeles ($7,095). Pricing from additional cities is available on request.
