How Star Alliance Encourages Passengers to Share Travel Tips

Star Alliance invites travelers visiting any of the alliance’s five branded lounges through March 31 to share lounge tips and recommendations using social media and the hashtag #irecommend.

Star Alliance’s branded lounges are located in Buenos Aires (EZE), Los Angeles (LAX), Nagoya (NGO), Paris (CDG) and São Paulo (GRU). Each lounge supplies specially designed drink coasters where guests can write recommendations, take photos and post them to social media. Selected photos and comments will be showcased on staralliance.com and the alliance’s social media channels.

The branded lounges are curated to reflect local character in their interiors and their food and beverage selections. Each lounge highlights signature local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, offering travelers a taste of the destination even before they depart.

The current campaign invites frequent travelers to collect all five coasters and post recommendations from each lounge by March 31. Participants who document their visits and share thoughtful recommendations increase their chances of being featured on Star Alliance platforms.

Beyond these five branded locations, Star Alliance provides access to an extensive global lounge network. Across more than 1,330 destinations, the alliance offers entry to over 1,000 lounges, combining airline-owned facilities, third-party lounges and its branded spaces to deliver the largest lounge network available through any airline alliance.
