JetBlue has announced a multi-year agreement to become the Official Airline Partner of the New England Patriots and Gillette Stadium. Under the partnership, during the 2015 NFL regular season passengers wearing official New England Patriots jerseys on game days will be eligible for early boarding when departing from any of JetBlue’s nine New England gateways: Boston (BOS), Burlington, Vt. (BTV), Hartford, Conn. (BDL), Martha’s Vineyard, Mass. (MVY), Nantucket, Mass. (ACK), Portland, Maine (PWM), Providence, R.I. (PVD), and Worcester, Mass. (ORH).
“We’re proud of our deep roots in New England, and few institutions unite the region like the Patriots,” said Marty St. George, executive vice president, commercial and planning at JetBlue. “We’re excited to team up with the NFL’s reigning Super Bowl champions and support fans traveling to and from games.”
The partnership includes a variety of co-branded marketing initiatives and stadium presence. JetBlue and the Patriots will collaborate on online advertising, e-mail campaigns, video board content, fan contests and special giveaways. As part of the agreement, JetBlue will also occupy a permanent digital board on the north end zone scoreboard at Gillette Stadium, providing ongoing visibility during events.
This collaboration strengthens JetBlue’s local engagement across New England while offering added value to Patriots fans who travel on game days. The carrier’s expanded presence in the market reinforces its commitment to the region and creates new opportunities for fan-focused promotions throughout the NFL season.
