Six Senses to Open Luxury Spa in Marbella: Opening Date & Details

A new luxurious Six Senses Spa will open in early summer at the charming Puente Romano Beach Resort on the Costa del Sol, along Spain’s southern coast.

True to Six Senses’ wellness philosophy, the spa blends whitewashed walls and hand-painted tiles with natural stone and locally sourced materials. The reception and lounge feature floor-to-ceiling timber walls, comfortable seating and curated retail displays, while the relaxation lounge includes a nail bar with views over the Mediterranean.

Key facilities comprise an extensive wet area with a hydrotherapy pool, a cold plunge pool, heat-and-ice experience showers, an herbal steam room, a sauna and a traditional hammam. An outdoor first-floor terrace adds three more treatment rooms, enhancing the spa’s indoor-outdoor experience.

Puente Romano Beach Resort, a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, is about 35 minutes from Málaga Airport. The resort offers 264 Mediterranean-style rooms housed across 27 three-storey villas. Onsite amenities include the two-Michelin-starred Dani García restaurant, seafront and garden pools, an internationally recognised tennis club, an 18-hole golf course and an equestrian centre.

The addition of Six Senses brings a focus on holistic wellbeing and locally inspired design, providing guests with modern spa therapies and restorative rituals set within the relaxed, sun-drenched atmosphere of the Costa del Sol.
