Six Senses Zighy Bay has completed extensive renovations to its three-bedroom Retreats and its premium four-bedroom Private Reserve. Set between the Musandam Mountains and the Gulf of Oman, the upgrades are designed to enhance privacy, comfort and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.
In the redesign, local textures and natural materials are emphasized: palm leaf and wicker details are woven throughout the villas, and furnishings are sourced from regions including South Africa, India, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates.

The Retreats, positioned at each end of the beach, were transformed from two-bedroom villas into three-bedroom Omani-style residences. Each Retreat offers more than 12,000 square feet of curated social spaces that include a dining room with a private bar, a lounge, indoor and outdoor living areas, and an infinity-edge pool with beachfront sunbeds—providing generous spaces for families and groups to relax together.
The Private Reserve is a four-bedroom estate designed for maximum privacy and entertaining. The residence includes a fully equipped kitchen, expansive living and dining areas, and a recreation room with an oversized pool table, private bar and dedicated cinema. At roughly 32,300 square feet, the property is among the largest of its kind in the Middle East and comprises four separate villa bedrooms within the enclave. Each bedroom features both indoor and outdoor ensuite showers, and the Reserve boasts an oversized infinity pool with sweeping views over the bay.

Guests arriving at the renovated villas can add signature experiences to their stay. Booking The Private Reserve or one of the Retreats includes options such as a paraglide arrival, a private sunset cruise around the Gulf of Oman, a tailored fitness or yoga session with a personal instructor, and a private in-villa barbecue prepared by the resort’s award-winning culinary team.
As part of its sustainability commitments, Six Senses Zighy Bay offers villas on a carbon-neutral rate. For each night booked under this option, $10 is allocated to support the Ay-Yildiz Wind Power Project in Balikesir, Turkey, reflecting the resort’s efforts to reduce its environmental footprint while offering guests responsible travel choices.
