Air Canada has opened a new International Maple Leaf Lounge at Frankfurt Airport (FRA). Located in Terminal 1 and open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., the lounge is designed to offer comfort and convenience for international travelers.
The lounge features a dedicated business center and complimentary WiFi for guests needing to work or stay connected. A bistro-style dining area serves a selection of hot and cold dishes, accompanied by complimentary Canadian and German wines, beers and spirits. For travelers looking to refresh, there is a shower area equipped with large rain showerheads, ambient music and quality spa products.
For relaxation and rest, the lounge offers a quiet area with six reclining pods. Each pod includes a personal TV screen, USB ports and Sony noise-canceling headsets to enhance privacy and comfort. The space is also enriched with Canadian artwork, creating a welcoming and distinctly Canadian atmosphere.
Eligibility for the lounge includes passengers departing in first class on Air Canada or Star Alliance flights, Star Alliance Gold members, and Air Canada Altitude members at Super Elite 100K, Elite 75K and Elite 50K levels. Air Canada currently operates up to five daily round-trip flights between Canada and Frankfurt, while Star Alliance carriers provide extensive connectivity from Frankfurt with hundreds of daily flights to a wide range of destinations.
This Frankfurt location marks Air Canada’s 21st Maple Leaf Lounge and its fourth in Europe, joining existing lounges in London (LHR) and Paris (CDG). The lounge expands Air Canada’s network of premium airport spaces, aimed at improving the travel experience for eligible customers across its international routes.
