Aleenta Chiang Mai Retreat Opens Its Doors in Thailand

Aleenta Retreat Chiang Mai has opened in northern Thailand as the third property under the Aleenta brand from Thailand-based luxury boutique specialist AKARYN Hotel Group. The new retreat features 44 guestrooms and suites, plus an onsite restaurant, bar and a dedicated spa and wellness center offering customized wellness programs and retreats.

“After a fruitful few years with the success of the first two Aleenta Resorts, we’re excited to be launching Aleenta Retreat Chiang Mai along with the addition of the holistic wellness programs, elevating the resort’s wellness offering to an unrivaled level in the region,” said Anchalika Kijkanakorn, managing director of AKARYN Hotel Group. She added that the brand plans further expansion in the coming years, with additional Aleenta properties to follow both inside and beyond Thailand.

Accommodation options range from well-appointed guestrooms to one- and two-bedroom pool residences, and a four-bedroom teak villa complete with a private pool. The spa and wellness center runs a range of tailored programs alongside complimentary daily classes such as yoga, Qi Gong and guided meditation.

Program examples include a five-night Mind Balance, a five-night Detoxification, a seven-night Total Immersion Yoga, and specialized offerings like Healthy Living for guests managing diabetes. The Self Love retreat is available in three-, five-, seven-, 14- and 21-night lengths, while a three-night Mindful Vipassana Meditation package starts from $304 per night. All retreats can be tailored to individual needs and preferences.

Retreat packages include healthy cuisine, hands-on cooking classes, and nutritionist-led meal plans with plant-based options available. The Garden restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering nutritious dishes that blend Northern Thai Lanna flavors with contemporary Western influences, designed to support guests’ wellness goals throughout their stay.
