JetBlue has announced new seasonal nonstop service between New York City (JFK) and Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe (PTP). The route will operate three times weekly beginning next February and will be the only nonstop connection between these two destinations.
The service will be operated with an Airbus A320 and will include JetBlue’s standard onboard amenities, such as complimentary Wi‑Fi, free DIRECTV programming, and complimentary snacks and soft drinks.
“With its blend of French charm and Caribbean spirit, Guadeloupe offers an exciting new escape for our customers this winter,” said Andrea Lusso, director of route planning at JetBlue. “This addition supports our New York focus city strategy and strengthens our Caribbean network; JetBlue now serves more nonstop destinations from JFK than any other carrier.”
“These are exciting times for our destination,” said Ary Chalus, president of the Guadeloupe Islands Tourist Board. “JetBlue is an ideal partner for the Guadeloupe Islands, and we are thrilled to welcome this new service. New York–JFK remains our most successful gateway, and it is an honor to be selected by an airline so popular with New Yorkers.”
This seasonal connection is designed to meet growing demand for direct travel between the New York metropolitan area and the Caribbean, offering convenient schedules and JetBlue’s cabin comforts aimed at leisure travelers seeking a short-haul island getaway. By providing a nonstop option, the new route reduces travel time and eliminates the need for connections, making Guadeloupe more accessible for weekend trips, winter escapes, and extended stays alike.
Passengers can expect JetBlue’s typical onboard experience, including spacious seating in its single-aisle A320 layout, free entertainment and Wi‑Fi, and complimentary refreshments. The carrier’s introduction of this route highlights continued investment in service from JFK and reinforces its focus on expanding Caribbean connectivity for travelers based in New York.
