Mastercard and Boingo Wireless now offer Mastercard cardholders unlimited access to more than one million premium Boingo Wi‑Fi hotspots worldwide. This complimentary service is available to select HSBC Mastercard cardholders in Argentina, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, as well as to many other eligible Mastercard cardholders globally. By using these hotspots in airports, hotels, restaurants, cafes and on select inflight services, cardholders can potentially save hundreds of dollars annually on roaming fees and paid Wi‑Fi subscriptions.
Connectivity while traveling is increasingly important. Research shows that more than half of affluent travelers consider complimentary Wi‑Fi a top desirable amenity, and inflight entertainment consumption on personal devices continues to rise. Mobile data demand is also growing rapidly worldwide, driving a greater need for reliable, high‑speed Wi‑Fi access during trips.
