Hilton Opens Second Bahamas Hotel: New Luxury Stay in Nassau

Hilton Hotels & Resorts has expanded its presence in the Bahamas with the opening of a new hotel at Resorts World Bimini, the world’s first cruise destination resort. Hilton at Resorts World Bimini is now the second Hilton property in the Bahamas, joining the British Colonial Hilton Nassau.

Located on North Bimini Island about 50 miles off the coast of South Florida, the newly constructed luxury marina hotel will serve both resort guests and cruise visitors. The property is designed to highlight the area’s signature white-sand beaches and clear turquoise water while offering easy access to the island’s marina and leisure activities. The hotel’s waterfront setting and modern amenities position it as a key leisure destination for travelers seeking beachside relaxation and marina-side entertainment.

Hilton’s leadership emphasized the strategic importance of the addition. Rob Palleschi, global head of full-service brands at Hilton Worldwide, said the new hotel strengthens Hilton’s portfolio in a prominent leisure market. The property is intended to complement Hilton’s global collection of more than 550 hotels by offering a premium island experience that combines beach amenities with resort-style entertainment and dining.

Resorts World Bimini operates as a cruise destination resort, and its dedicated ship, Bimini SuperFast, will provide two- and three-night sailings from Port Miami three times per week. Guests traveling on Bimini SuperFast can choose between staying overnight on the ship or booking one- or two-bedroom condos at the resort, giving visitors flexible lodging options that suit both short cruise getaways and longer island stays.

The hotel and resort complex include a range of recreational facilities tailored to island and marina life. Visitors can enjoy water sports, fishing, and boating activities that take advantage of the surrounding ocean environment. The complex also features a world-class casino with views of the water and marina, offering live-action table gaming and a modern casino floor designed to appeal to leisure travelers. In addition, guests can explore boutique shopping and multiple restaurants and bars that provide a variety of dining choices, from casual fare to more refined options.

Hilton at Resorts World Bimini aims to attract a wide spectrum of travelers, from cruise passengers and families to couples seeking a seaside retreat. The resort’s combination of marina access, beachfront amenities, and on-site entertainment creates an integrated destination experience. With the hotel’s opening planned for the summer season, resort operators expect to welcome guests looking for a convenient island escape within easy reach of South Florida.

By expanding into Resorts World Bimini, Hilton continues to invest in key leisure markets and extend its full-service brand offerings. The new property links established hospitality standards with the dynamic appeal of a cruise destination resort, providing guests with contemporary accommodations and direct access to outdoor and marina-based recreation. This addition reinforces Hilton’s commitment to growth in the Caribbean region while offering travelers another choice for luxury island stays in the Bahamas.
