National Geographic Expeditions has teamed up with Scenic Luxury Cruises and Tours to introduce a new series of river cruises that blend Scenic’s all-inclusive luxury with National Geographic’s long-standing commitment to exploration, science and conservation.
Each sailing includes a National Geographic expert and a professional photographer who enhance the journey with engaging presentations, informal talks and practical photography instruction.
Passengers can choose from a variety of curated excursions, including guided hikes, bike tours and hands-on learning experiences that explore local ecology, culture and history.

The itinerary options span many of Europe’s most scenic waterways: the Rhine, Danube, Main and Moselle rivers; routes through Holland and Belgium; France’s Bordeaux region; Portugal’s Douro Valley; and international departures that include Myanmar’s Irrawaddy River.
Departures begin this year and are available for booking directly through National Geographic Expeditions or Scenic.
