Build Meaningful New Connections: Networking Tips That Work

Airberlin is introducing a second daily flight between Berlin Tegel (TXL) and Bucharest (OTP), creating a convenient one-stop connection between Chicago O’Hare (ORD) and Romania’s capital. The new service begins on March 30, 2015.

“Chicago is one of airberlin’s core destinations in the U.S., and we continually refine our route network to offer travelers improved connections across Europe and beyond,” said Roberto Cuesta, Vice President Sales and Marketing, The Americas, airberlin. “Adding a daily link to the vibrant, historic city of Bucharest strengthens our network, especially as Eastern Europe grows in popularity with U.S. travelers.”

The additional daily flight, AB8270, is timed to provide a seamless connection with flight AB7421 from Chicago, which departs O’Hare at 3:25 p.m. From Bucharest, the new daily service, AB8273, departs at 6:30 a.m. and arrives in Berlin at 7:35 a.m., allowing passengers to connect with AB7420 departing Berlin at 10:00 a.m. and arriving in Chicago at 12:10 p.m. (all times local).

This schedule offers passengers increased flexibility and a straightforward one-stop option between the U.S. Midwest and Romania, improving business and leisure travel opportunities between these regions.
