Marriott International is celebrating a new direct flight between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Owen Roberts International Airport in Grand Cayman with special offers at its Grand Cayman resorts. This new weekly service is the first direct connection from LAX to the Cayman Islands and creates convenient travel options for West Coast visitors.
The new route operates once weekly, departing LAX on Sundays with a return flight on Saturdays. To align with the flight schedule, Marriott properties on Grand Cayman are promoting six-night packages and curated itineraries. Participating hotels include Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort, The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa, and The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, each offering exclusive benefits tied to the inaugural service.

Each resort highlights distinct experiences. At Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort, guests can enjoy farm-to-table dining and rejuvenating spa treatments at Botanika Union. The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa offers active programming, from water sports and yoga to the RunWestin program and a 24-hour fitness center, appealing to travelers who want to stay active. The newly renovated Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman features the Jean-Michel Cousteau Ambassadors of the Environment program, giving guests educational access to the islands’ marine and ecological treasures.
To mark the route launch, the three resorts are offering a promotional package that includes a 20 percent discount on room rates plus a $300 resort credit. The promotion must be booked by October 31 and applies to travel through March 4, 2023. A minimum six-night stay is required. Guests taking advantage of the offer need to present proof of travel on the LAX–Grand Cayman flight, such as a boarding pass, at check-in.
