The luxury hospitality group behind some of Dubai’s most iconic properties, Emaar Hospitality Group, has expanded into Sub-Saharan Africa for the first time with the opening of Address Hotel 2 Février Lomé Togo. The new hotel occupies the tallest building in Togo, rising 30 stories and forming a striking landmark on the Lomé skyline.
Operating under the Address Hotels + Resorts brand, the property offers more than 250 guestrooms and suites alongside 64 serviced apartments designed for both short stays and extended residencies. Guests can also enjoy extensive facilities including a ballroom, a congress hall, an auditorium, a luxury spa and on-site retail, making the hotel well suited for business events, conferences and leisure stays.
Address Hotel 2 Février Lomé Togo marks the sixth destination for the Address Hotels + Resorts collection. The brand continues to grow with additional projects planned or under development across Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, Bahrain and the Maldives.
Ashok Gupta, founder and CEO of Kalyan Group, the owner of the development, described the hotel as “a prestigious asset in our real estate and hospitality investment portfolio” and highlighted the significance of the project for Togo, calling it “widely regarded as the ‘Jewel of West Africa’” and a source of national pride.
Olivier Harnisch, CEO of Emaar Hospitality Group, noted that the agreement represents a milestone in the group’s Sub-Saharan Africa expansion. He thanked Ashok Gupta and the Togolese government for their support and said the opening reflects confidence in Togo as a market with meaningful growth opportunities.
The Address Hotel 2 Février Lomé Togo combines contemporary design and regional character, aiming to meet international standards while contributing to local development. With its mix of guest rooms, serviced residences and event spaces, the property is positioned to attract business travellers, conference organisers and tourists seeking high-quality accommodation in West Africa.
As the hotel begins welcoming guests, the project underscores a broader trend of international hospitality brands entering African markets. By introducing premium services and modern meeting facilities, the new Address property seeks to elevate the city’s hospitality offerings and support increased regional tourism and business activity.
With its strategic location, comprehensive amenities and the backing of an established international operator, Address Hotel 2 Février Lomé Togo aims to become a key destination for visitors to Lomé and a notable addition to Emaar Hospitality Group’s expanding portfolio.
