Hyatt Hotels: 2022 New Openings and Major Renovations

Hyatt has an exciting lineup for 2022. Throughout the summer and into the remainder of the year, the company is opening new properties and unveiling major renovations across several of its brands.

Opening this month, Caption by Hyatt Beale Street Memphis is the inaugural property for the Caption by Hyatt brand. The hotel offers 136 guestrooms and introduces Talk Shop, a reimagined arrival concept that combines a welcome area, an all-day lounge, flexible workspaces, an eatery and a bar. Sustainability is central to the design: the property is single-use plastic free and supports mobile key access.

Scheduled to open in Q3 2022, Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach will be the first Andaz in Thailand. Created by award-winning Thai architects, the property will feature 204 guestrooms and villas, along with distinctive culinary concepts that emphasize ocean-to-table dining and communal food experiences.

Part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, Hôtel du Palais in Biarritz, France, will unveil a comprehensive renovation this month. The restoration updates 86 guestrooms and 56 suites, carefully preserving and reflecting the historical character of the building.

Park Hyatt Chicago will debut a $60 million renovation this summer. The refresh introduces new suite categories, including 23 newly created suites, and upgrades to the lobby, The Library, food and beverage outlets, spa facilities, and the hotel’s curated art program.

Additional openings planned for 2022 include Magma Resort Santorini in July and Park Hyatt Marrakech in Q4.
