Azamara Cruises has launched a redesigned global reservation platform called RezA, aimed at simplifying the booking process for travel advisors. The upgrade is part of the cruise line’s “Listening, Learning, and Linking” initiative, developed in close collaboration with its travel partner community to reflect their feedback and priorities.
RezA was named through Azamara’s Name It to Win It contest, which invited travel advisors to propose names for the new system. More than 500 submissions were narrowed to eight finalists before the winning entry, originally RezAmara and later shortened to RezA, was selected.

Michelle Lardizabal, Azamara’s chief sales officer, emphasized the platform’s advisor-centered design: “We never stop looking for ways to better support our travel advisors, and are confident that this update reflects their feedback and this commitment. Once educated on RezA, advisors tell us how much they love the platform’s intuitive design to quickly make a booking and how easy it is to use. It’s saving our advisors a phone call and improving the way they interact with their clients, which is exactly what they’ve asked for.”
RezA introduces several practical features intended to boost efficiency and improve the advisor experience. Advisors can send secure payment links directly to clients, set up automated payment reminders, and duplicate reservations quickly for repeat bookings or group travel. The platform also supports expedited commission payments, reducing administrative delays, and centralizes key reservation tools in a single, user-friendly interface.
These enhancements were developed from direct input by travel advisors, reflecting Azamara’s commitment to iterative improvement and partner collaboration. By streamlining routine tasks, RezA aims to let advisors spend more time on personalized service and less on administrative work, ultimately improving the client experience and strengthening advisor-cruise line relationships.
The new RezA system positions Azamara to better support travel advisors as they sell and manage cruises, while maintaining a focus on simplicity, speed and accuracy. As advisors adopt the platform, Azamara plans to continue gathering feedback and rolling out updates that address evolving needs in the travel sales process.
