In February 2024, the Eastern & Oriental Express, a Belmond train in Southeast Asia, returned to service and announced a long-term collaboration with House of Dior. This partnership introduces Dior Spa Eastern & Oriental Express, Dior’s first permanent spa in the region. The seasonal train journeys depart from Singapore and travel through Malaysia, combining luxury rail travel with signature Dior wellness experiences.

Dior Spa Eastern & Oriental Express is the third Dior Spa to appear on Belmond trains. It follows a temporary spa on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express and a permanent spa on the Royal Scotsman in Scotland. The spa occupies one of the train’s 16 carriages and includes a dedicated reception area and two private treatment rooms, designed to provide an intimate and restorative environment while the train travels through scenic landscapes.
The spa menu was created by Dior Wellness Experts and features five bespoke treatments that blend Asian-inspired techniques with Dior’s signature approach to wellbeing. Highlights include:
- D-Jungle – A combined face and body treatment drawing on Asian influences, incorporating deep muscle massage, assisted stretching and targeted energy point work.
- Constellation Massage – A versatile treatment that blends multiple massage modalities to address tension and promote relaxation.
- D-Tissue Massage – Focused on deeper soft-tissue work to relieve accumulated stiffness and improve mobility.
- Kobi-Dior Facial Treatment – A facial tailored to rejuvenate and nourish the skin using Dior’s specialized techniques.
- Le Soin de Minuit – An indulgent nighttime treatment developed to encourage deep, restorative sleep.
After treatments, guests are invited to relax with a selection of teas and light delicacies, enhancing the overall sense of calm and wellbeing on board. The spa’s design and service emphasize discreet luxury and personalized care, offering passengers a tranquil retreat during their journey.
