BIO Habitat Hotel, located in the Department of Quindío, Colombia, has expanded its offerings with new suites, a BIO Wellness Center and a tennis court. Situated on 40 acres of rainforest and mountain terrain in Colombia’s Eje Cafetero—a UNESCO-recognized coffee cultural landscape—the hotel blends immersive nature with wellness-focused amenities.

Since opening in 2018, BIO Habitat has offered 28 habitats across eight distinct categories. Accommodation options range from suites with panoramic mountain views, hot tubs and private infinity pools, to Nidos—glass-enclosed rooms with suspended nets tucked into the forest canopy. In late 2022 the property introduced Habitats Selvarios, a collection of grand master suites designed to maximize privacy and nature immersion.

The centerpiece of the hotel’s wellness program is the Bô Wellness Center, a modern facility offering comprehensive restorative experiences. The center includes two pools, wet and dry saunas, and a wellness bar serving natural refreshments and light snacks. Treatment options span the Bô signature rituals—such as a Cacao and Café ceremony—to Ayurvedic therapies that incorporate locally sourced herbs and traditional techniques.
The on-site Basto Resto Bar provides all-day dining focused on health-conscious cuisine. Many dishes use organic ingredients cultivated on the property or sourced from nearby producers, reflecting the hotel’s commitment to sustainable, locally driven gastronomy. The grounds also feature a newly built tennis court set within the surrounding rainforest, giving guests an active option amid nature.

Suites are appointed for comfort and connection to the landscape, with features such as spacious terraces, king-size beds, work desks, air conditioning, premium linens and a pillow menu. Private bathrooms provide sweeping views of the mountains and a clear sightline to bright stars on clear nights, enhancing the sense of retreat and relaxation.
