Singapore Food Trail: Curated Culinary Experience by Mandarin Oriental

Mandarin Oriental, Singapore presented the Singapore Food Trail experience, available to guests from October 1 through April 30, 2019.

The package begins with an overnight stay in a Marina Bay View suite, where guests are welcomed with an assortment of traditional Peranakan delicacies. During the stay, the hotel’s executive sous chef leads a guided visit to Tiong Bahru Market and Food Centre, offering a local perspective on Singapore’s vibrant hawker culture and an opportunity to sample authentic street foods alongside experienced vendors.

After the market tour, participants return to the hotel for a hands-on cooking session. Under the chef’s guidance, guests learn to prepare several regional dishes, practicing techniques and flavors that reflect Singapore’s multicultural culinary heritage.

To complement the culinary activities, the experience includes a rejuvenating spa treatment that incorporates fragrant pandan leaves, chosen for their soothing and restorative properties. This spa session is designed to relax the body after a day of exploration and cooking.

Daily breakfast is also provided as part of the package, allowing guests to start each morning with a satisfying meal before continuing their stay or activities.
