Global wellness brand Sensei has introduced a curated series of hiking retreats, beginning with an inaugural program at Sensei Lānaʻi, a Four Seasons Resort, running April 29–May 4.
Designed for hikers of varying experience, the six-day retreat features easy-to-moderate guided hikes across Lānaʻi’s lush and varied terrain, combining outdoor exploration with holistic wellness programming.

“Given the island’s mountains and diverse landscapes, launching a Hiking Retreat on Lānaʻi was a natural progression for our offerings,” said Alexandra Walterspiel, president and chief operating officer of Sensei. “These cohort-style retreats bring together like-minded participants to build social connection—an essential component of wellbeing—while immersing guests in local culture and nature.”
The retreat package includes:
- Five nights in luxury accommodations
- Three moderate, scenic hikes guided by local experts
- Hiking warmup sessions led by an on-site exercise physiologist
- Four 60-minute spa treatments and bodywork sessions
- A one-on-one Sensei Guide consultation covering fitness, nutrition, yoga, meditation, sleep, or mindfulness
- Three semi-private wellness classes
- A sunset sail along the coastline
- An optional hike to Koloiki Ridge on a rest day, paired with a sensory lunch experience
- Selected meals and a $500 dining credit
- Opening and closing ceremonies with group dinners
- Round-trip flights from Honolulu on Lānaʻi Air
