Newly expanded, The Capra has introduced the Valais Ski Safari, a curated way to experience one of Switzerland’s most celebrated ski regions from the hotel’s base in Saas-Fee. Originally launched in 2015, The Capra reopened for the 2025 season after a significant expansion. The property now offers 38 rooms—14 more than before—following the addition of two buildings to the original structure and extensive interior renovations. The expansion added six double rooms, seven junior suites and one penthouse suite, and it also enhanced the wellness facilities with a new relaxation area, an upgraded spa, a fitness room and a dedicated yoga and Pilates studio.

Each day, a vetted guide from The Capra leads small groups—ideal for one to five skiers—between ski areas, offering expert advice on route selection, snow conditions and dining options.
