Qatar Airways has launched an online visa application service for tourists traveling to Qatar. The service is available at qatarairways.com for passengers holding confirmed round-trip tickets that include Doha (DOH) on Qatar Airways and who book their hotel through Discover Qatar, the airline’s inbound holiday division.
The visa is issued for the length of the hotel stay, which must be for tourism purposes and cannot exceed 30 days. Standard processing takes about 10 days and the fee is $55 per person. Applicants can choose an expedited option that reduces processing time to approximately seven days for a fee of $120 per person. Visas must be used within 60 days of the issue date.
