SkyTeam Debuts Luxury Airline Lounge at Dubai International Airport

Airline alliance SkyTeam opened a new lounge last week at Dubai International Airport in the airport’s new Concourse D, Terminal 1.

The new lounge blends contemporary design with a calm, natural atmosphere, featuring clean lines, plentiful plant life and a digital art gallery. Guests can use unlimited Wi‑Fi throughout the space, and business travelers will find practical tech services such as printing. A separate entertainment room keeps louder television programming away from the main seating areas, while a dedicated children’s room offers a quieter family space. Complimentary hot and cold food options are provided alongside a fully stocked bar, and shower facilities are available for passengers who want to freshen up.

Occupying more than 10,000 square feet, the lounge can accommodate up to 180 passengers, offering a comfortable environment for travelers before departure.

“Dubai is a rapidly emerging global aviation hub and the busiest airport in the world for international passengers, so this was a natural location for our latest lounge to meet the expectations of our premium passengers,” said Perry Cantarutti, CEO and managing director of SkyTeam. He added that the alliance plans to open additional shared lounges across its network, with Beijing scheduled as the next opening later this year.
