United Airlines now offers enhanced check-in options for frequent travelers at San Francisco International Airport, helping them move more quickly from curb to gate. The upgrades include a dedicated reception lobby for members of the invitation-only Global Services program and a separate, expedited check-in area for MileagePlus Premier members.
The new Global Services reception lobby is located across from doors five and six on the departures level of Terminal 3. Designed for customers traveling in United Global First on long-haul international flights, the glass-enclosed space measures about 1,100 square feet and provides five full-service check-in podiums, a comfortable seating area, and access to a front-of-line security lane that includes TSA PreCheck.
Nearby, United has opened a Premier check-in area close to Terminal 3’s Boarding Area E. This facility gives MileagePlus Premier members faster check-in options and includes self-tagging kiosks for checked baggage, allowing eligible customers to complete bag tagging themselves and continue on to the gate more quickly.
Both additions are intended to streamline the airport experience for United’s most frequent flyers, reducing lines and wait times while offering a more personalized, efficient start to their journeys through San Francisco International Airport.
