Ritz-Carlton Atlanta Reveals Newly Renovated Guestrooms

Guest rooms at The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta received a thoughtful redesign this year that celebrates the city’s character. The refreshed interiors draw inspiration from Atlanta’s cinematic nickname, “The Hollywood of the South,” and reference the city’s evolving landscape and lifestyle. Corridors and guestroom accents incorporate colors and textures evoking Piedmont Park—lush greens, soft sky blues and steely silvers—while locally commissioned artwork echoes natural motifs throughout the property.

“Atlanta is our muse, and the hotel continues to evolve out of the unparalleled lifestyle around us,” said Erwin Schinnerl, general manager of The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta. “The design is infused with a fervent sense of place, providing a modern backdrop for a vibrant new era of luxury travelers discovering our city.”

Each guestroom now features an updated bathroom palette of blue and lavender, with inlaid backlit mirrors for a modern, calming ambiance. King guestrooms include upgraded marble walk-in showers and floating vanities accessed by sliding barn doors, adding both style and functional privacy. Living areas have been reconfigured to offer additional seating and more comfortable lounging options, and the Club Lounge has been expanded to provide extra space for dining and drinks. Renovation work will continue and be completed in phases over the coming months.

These recent upgrades build on earlier enhancements at the property. Last year the hotel introduced a dedicated Wellness Level, and in late 2016 the dining venue AG opened as the reimagined successor to the former Atlanta Grill, with a complete overhaul of its interior, menu and cocktail program. During the same period, the hotel also modernized its meeting and event facilities, updating approximately 17,000 square feet to better serve conferences, celebrations and private gatherings.

Together, the redesign and service updates reflect the hotel’s commitment to blending contemporary luxury with local character—creating comfortable, curated spaces for both leisure and business travelers who want an elevated Atlanta experience rooted in the city’s natural and cultural landscape.
