Transcend Connect: Global Traveler Hosted Trip Experience

JOIN GLOBAL TRAVELER ON ITS NEXT TRIP!

Global Traveler subscribers are invited to join CEO and publisher Francis X. Gallagher for an exclusive Rhine River journey, Oct. 29–Nov. 5. This limited-access cruise, not yet open to the public, sails from Frankfurt to Brussels with stops in Rüdesheim, Cochem, Bonn and Nijmegen aboard the new Transcend Connect.

The Transcend Connect blends the intimacy of a river yacht with the amenities of an urban luxury resort. Unpack once and wake every day in a new destination—Frankfurt, Rüdesheim, Cochem, Bonn, Nijmegen, Antwerp and Brussels—surrounded by castles, vineyards, historic towns and vibrant cities.

Mornings are for coffee on the top deck as riverside landscapes drift by. Afternoons offer choices: relax in the 2,300-square-foot wellness center, take a guided bike ride through charming towns, or enjoy wine on the sun deck. Evenings begin with cocktails by the rooftop fire pit and continue with exceptional dining paired with curated wines. After dark, the two-story Forum transforms into a private cinema or an intimate concert venue.

This five-star journey with Global Traveler includes outdoor BBQs, an open-air yacht cinema and attentive, premium service. Designed especially for Global Traveler, the departure provides a rare chance to experience a brand-new cruise concept firsthand.

Wellness is central to the onboard experience. The dedicated wellness zone spans more than 2,600 square feet across three levels and includes an outdoor-facing spa, sauna, relaxation lounge, two private treatment rooms, and a fitness center equipped with Technogym machines. An on-demand wellness studio, an upper-deck yoga area, a rock garden and a barefoot walking path encourage both physical activity and mindfulness.

Entertainment on Transcend Cruises mixes local flavor and curated programming: live performances by regional artists, themed parties under the stars and intimate music sessions. From sunset cocktails to lively dance nights, the team designs experiences that entertain, inspire and indulge guests.

Accommodations consist of 60 identical, oversized staterooms that are convertible to create up to 30 two-room suites. Stateroom features include French balconies with sash windows, luxurious beds with eco-friendly linens, open bathroom designs with smart privacy glass, spa showers, dual sinks, separate washroom areas, vanity mirrors and sustainably packaged spa amenities.
