Hyatt Expands World of Hyatt: New Brands Added to Loyalty Program

Hyatt has expanded the World of Hyatt program, giving members more opportunities to earn and redeem points. The recent additions include Thompson Hotels, and several other brands are scheduled to join in the coming months.

Brands set to be added soon include Joie de Vivre Hotels, Alila Hotels and Destination Hotels, broadening the range of properties available to members.

Together, these new brands add more than 60 properties across more than 20 cities to the World of Hyatt portfolio. They significantly increase the program’s resort offerings—by roughly 60 percent—and introduce a variety of new experiences, including 10 ski destinations, over 20 golf courses and more than 40 spas.

“We are committed to quickly integrating these distinctive brands into Hyatt’s portfolio, allowing our guests to discover more unique destinations and connect to exclusive and rewarding experiences across their travel journeys,” said Mark Vondrasek, chief commercial officer of Hyatt Hotels Corporation. “Within weeks of Hyatt acquiring Two Roads, we started sharing sales leads across this collection of new brands to drive revenue and increase value for owners. We are thrilled to welcome Thompson Hotels as the first to join World of Hyatt, with Joie de Vivre Hotels to quickly follow.”
