Yotel Opens New Location Expanding Presence at Istanbul Airport

Yotel has opened two new properties at İstanbul Airport: one landside and one airside. Both are located within the city’s new airport complex, which fully opened last month after several delays.

The landside property, Yotel İstanbul Airport, offers 277 cabin-style rooms that can be booked by the night. The airside property, Yotelair İstanbul Airport, is located inside the Family Palace Zone beyond security and offers 174 rooms available for short-stay bookings with a minimum four-hour stay.

Each hotel includes communal “komyuniti” spaces designed for co-working, dining and relaxation. The landside hotel also features a restaurant, bar, gym and meeting rooms to serve both transit and local guests. Nightly rates at Yotel İstanbul Airport start from $155, while Yotelair İstanbul Airport offers four-hour stays from $105.

“Our arrival in the Turkish market highlights an exciting period in our global expansion plan and we are incredibly proud to be part of such a revolutionary project at İstanbul Airport,” said Hubert Viriot, CEO of Yotel. “This will be our first location to offer both the Yotel and Yotelair concepts, providing flexible options for modern travellers who want to be just minutes from check-in and departure gates.”

Yotel launched in 2007 with its first property at London Gatwick Airport. Since then the brand has grown steadily and now has around 30 properties either operating or in development, with plans to expand further in coming years.
