This fall, White Elephant Resorts, known for its iconic properties in Nantucket, Massachusetts, and Palm Beach, Florida, expands to the American West with White Elephant Aspen. Located in the heart of downtown Aspen, the new resort features 54 guestrooms and suites styled with a refined Victorian-inspired aesthetic.

Guestrooms and suites are finished with Roman clay walls, porcelain tile floors and rustic stone mosaics, creating a warm, textured backdrop. Custom furnishings include hand-painted lampshades, embossed leather headboards, resin coffee tables and oil-rubbed bronze light fixtures. Select rooms feature private outdoor patios or balconies for taking in fresh mountain air. The resort’s premier accommodation, a 1,600-square-foot penthouse suite, offers three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, plus an expansive 1,600-square-foot balcony with sweeping views.
The resort brings Lola 41, the signature restaurant found at other White Elephant properties, to Aspen. Lola 41 highlights inspired seafood and sushi specialties crafted to complement the mountain setting and seasonal ingredients.

On-site amenities include a year-round heated pool, two hot tubs and an outdoor firepit for relaxing after a day on the slopes or exploring downtown Aspen.
The resort also showcases a curated art program featuring more than 125 original works selected by curator Emily Santangelo. The collection includes landscapes by Alex Katz and paintings by Robert Peterson, while rotating photography of Maroon Bells by Bob Tabor will be displayed in the lobby. White Elephant Aspen will collaborate with Anderson Ranch Arts Center to further highlight local artists and cultural programming, integrating the resort into Aspen’s vibrant creative community.
