WestJet Launches Houston Flights — Book Direct Service Today

WestJet is expanding its presence in the United States by adding new service to Texas this month. The Canadian airline has launched a non-stop route between Calgary International Airport and George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, operating the direct flight six times weekly.

“Calgary–Houston is among the most requested routes from our corporate travel clients in Western Canada, given the two cities’ roles in the energy sector,” said Chris Avery, vice president of network planning, alliances and corporate development at WestJet.

“WestJet’s new Houston service will be an excellent option for YYC’s business and leisure travelers who need direct connections to a major center for space exploration and a global energy hub,” said Stephan Poirier, senior vice president and chief commercial officer of the Calgary Airport Authority. “We continue to work with our airline partners to ensure Albertans have a wide range of air access through Calgary International Airport.”
