This November, Velaa expands its dining program with a special visiting-chef series at its signature restaurant, Aragu. The series features three acclaimed chefs who will present collaborative dinner events that showcase distinct culinary traditions and techniques.
French-born chef Maxime Gilbert will draw on his experience in Michelin-starred kitchens for two exclusive dinners, highlighting refined techniques and seasonal ingredients. Chef Jordy Navarra will host two collaborative events that celebrate Filipino flavors, cooking methods and local ingredients, offering guests an opportunity to explore modern interpretations of Filipino cuisine. Award-winning chef Natsuko Shoji will focus on French classics and exquisite pastry creations, presenting an elegant tasting experience that balances savory courses with delicate desserts.
Velaa Private Island’s Anniversary
The resort marks its ninth anniversary on December 20 with a celebratory evening for guests. The anniversary event includes a special dinner and live music performed by the French band Charley’s Angels, creating a festive atmosphere to honor the resort’s milestone season.
