Vegas Resort Reinvents Fitness: New High-Tech Gym & Wellness Hub

ARIA Resort & Casino, one of the newest and most luxurious resorts on the Las Vegas Strip, has unveiled significant upgrades to its fitness offerings, improving technology, recovery options and innovative workout experiences for guests.

The resort’s 6,000-square-foot fitness center, situated adjacent to the spa and salon and featuring floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the pool deck, has been modernized with an emphasis on connected equipment and immersive training options. A new partnership with Technogym — a brand known for supplying equipment to elite athletes — brings advanced cardio and strength machines that wirelessly sync with guests’ devices. Users can save and share biometric and training data, track performance, and continue their routines across platforms.

High-definition LCD monitors on the machines provide access to immersive workout videos and streaming services, allowing guests to follow guided sessions, scenic runs and instructor-led classes. The integration of social media and streaming capabilities aims to make workouts engaging and convenient for travelers who want to maintain their fitness routines while away from home.

In addition to connected equipment, ARIA has added an innovative climbing feature: an infinity rock climbing wall known as a Treadwall. This stand-up conveyor-style climbing surface adjusts speeds and textures to simulate a realistic rock face, offering a dynamic, low-impact climbing workout suitable for a wide range of skill levels.

To support recovery and post-exercise care, the fitness center now includes a cryotherapy chamber. This chamber exposes users to controlled sub-freezing temperatures for short periods to help reduce inflammation, accelerate recovery and manage exercise-related discomfort. The addition complements the resort’s broader wellness facilities and services.

“Recognizing that health and wellness is important to our guests when they travel, we wanted to provide the best facilities to accommodate their needs,” said Paul Berry, vice president of hotel operations at ARIA. “Upgrading the fitness center with smart, innovative equipment reflects our commitment to forward thinking, adaptability and always keeping the guest experience top of mind.”

With these enhancements, ARIA aims to offer a modern fitness environment that balances cutting-edge technology, immersive training content and recovery tools. The updated center caters to both serious athletes and casual exercisers, providing flexible options for maintaining fitness, trying new activities and supporting overall wellness while visiting the resort.
