Opened to guests in January 2024, the Spa at Tryall Club embraces a holistic approach to wellness. Its offerings include customized treatments and fitness programs such as sound therapy, yoga meditation, guided breathing and a variety of massage therapies. The spa experience is designed to restore balance and promote relaxation through personalized care.

Inspired by the seven chakras—energy centers in the body—the spa features dedicated spaces and programs addressing physical and energetic wellbeing. Facilities include yoga and meditation studios, sound therapy sessions, four treatment rooms, and manicure and pedicure services. Treatments and spa beverages incorporate herbs and spices harvested from the spa’s on-site garden, along with locally sourced wellness products, including a CBD line derived from plants grown on the property.

The Tryall Club is a community of privately owned estate villas, thoughtfully integrated into the island landscape. Villa sizes range from intimate one-bedroom retreats to expansive ten-bedroom estates, each supported by dedicated villa staff. The property comprises 92 villas plus 13 Great House villas, offering a range of accommodations for couples, families and larger groups.

Dining options on the property include The Beach Restaurant and Grill, which offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Chef Kevin Betton presents a seasonal menu that highlights fresh ingredients, many sourced from the resort’s organic garden. The Club also provides a selection of intimate private dining locations—such as the waterwheel, the beach gazebo and the organic garden—perfect for special occasions.

Beverage service includes the assistance of an in-house sommelier to pair wines with meals, and the option to arrange a private bar with a personal bartender. These services are tailored to create memorable culinary experiences for guests.

The property has deep historical roots. In the 19th century the area was a small sugar plantation, though the hilly terrain proved less suitable for large-scale sugar cultivation. Many pimento and coconut palms remain across the grounds, a reminder of the site’s agricultural past. The resort’s Great House was originally built in 1834 as a Georgian manor and has been renovated several times. In 1935 it was converted into a hotel featuring 24 guest rooms, with running water and electric lights in every room—amenities that were modern at the time.

The Great House remains the heart of the resort and upholds long-standing traditions, including a complimentary afternoon tea served on the veranda and terrace daily at 4 p.m., a ritual that dates back to the 1930s.

Outdoor recreation is a major draw. The property’s 18-hole championship golf course, designed in 1958 by Ralph Plummer, stretches 6,772 yards of rolling terrain with strategically placed bunkers and challenging greens, offering stunning views of the Caribbean. Tennis has been popular at the Club since 1959; today guests can play on nine courts surfaced with Agile Turf and Nova Cushion, coached by experienced pros. Predominantly white attire is required for play, and complimentary court access and equipment rentals are provided. For those preferring other racquet sports, the resort also offers four pickleball courts.

The Tryall Club blends natural beauty, history and contemporary amenities—spa wellness experiences, diverse dining, private villas and championship sports facilities—creating a refined and restorative Caribbean retreat.
