SWISS Reveals New Boeing 777‑300ER Flagship Details

SWISS is set to begin renewing its long-haul fleet with the introduction of new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft next year. Nine of these aircraft will join the fleet gradually starting in early 2016, modernizing the airline’s long-haul capacity and passenger experience.

The Boeing 777-300ERs will be configured with 340 seats, featuring eight first-class suites and 62 business-class seats. First-class suites will include a 32-inch in-flight entertainment screen—among the largest available—electrically adjustable window blinds and a personal wardrobe. Business-class seats are designed to convert quickly and easily into fully flat beds, providing enhanced comfort for long-haul travelers.

Initially, the new 777-300ERs will operate on routes to Hong Kong (HKG), Bangkok (BKK) and Los Angeles (LAX) beginning in the summer of 2016, offering passengers upgraded onboard amenities and improved long-haul service.
