Sofitel Debuts LeVestiaire Collection by Cordelia de Castellane

Sofitel has unveiled LeVestiaire, a global wardrobe created in collaboration with French designer Cordelia de Castellane. This mix-and-match collection merges couture sensibility with everyday sophistication, allowing the brand’s 25,000 employees—from front desk to housekeeping—to express individuality with ease. LeVestiaire will begin its rollout across Sofitel’s 120 hotels worldwide starting at the end of 2026.

“We are entering a moment when Sofitel has fully regained its pride, at a time when so many of our hotels are being beautifully renovated—such as Sofitel New York and Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile—and when new Sofitel properties are opening around the world as true flagships of the brand,” said Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel, MGallery and Emblems. “It was essential to me that our teams—the very essence of luxury—could also benefit from this new era of beauty. It felt only natural that they should shine more than ever. I am delighted by this collaboration with Cordelia de Castellane, who has perfectly captured the spirit of a refined, timeless wardrobe that celebrates French elegance and luxury.”

LeVestiaire consists of more than 45 pieces plus a curated range of accessories, all designed for versatility so each Sofitel hotel, resort and residence—from Dubai to Hanoi to Bali—can tailor selections to local culture while retaining Sofitel’s signature French elegance. With adaptable silhouettes and modular styling, the collection provides one wardrobe with thousands of possible combinations. Employees can assemble their own personalized “vestiaire,” freely mixing and matching items to suit role and setting.

Iconic French designer Cordelia de Castellane brings a timeless Parisian sensibility to LeVestiaire. Her interest in lifestyle and other cultures informed the collection, which is her first global uniform project. de Castellane worked directly with Sofitel teams in workshops and fittings to ensure comfort, ease of movement and opportunities for personal expression across diverse body types, cultures and job functions. The collection favors enduring cuts, tactile fabrics, and a refined color palette of navy blue, coconut milk, beige and denim blue.

The graphic Sofitel logo has been reinterpreted as a series of exclusive monogram prints applied to scarves, shirts, dresses and ties, adding discreet brand identity to the pieces.

de Castellane explained the design approach: “The idea is simple: pick and choose a look that fits the right place and the right position. I didn’t want to lock people into a single uniform. Sofitel is a great French brand with a rich legacy, and for this project I wanted to design a vestiaire rather than a uniform. The collaboration felt very natural because we share the same values: a love of beauty, attention to detail and a deep respect for craftsmanship and comfort.”

Aligned with Sofitel’s Committed Luxury philosophy, LeVestiaire was created with longevity in mind. Materials were chosen for quality, breathability and durability, and repairability is integrated into the design process to extend each garment’s useful life.
