Six Senses Hotels, Resorts and Spas has announced plans to open its first resort in the Seychelles: Six Senses Zil Pasyon, scheduled to welcome guests in 2015. Situated on the private island of Félicité, about 30 miles from Mahé and a short boat ride from the islands of La Digue and Praslin, the resort is designed to blend luxury with the island’s natural beauty.
The development will feature a selection of accommodations to suit different guest needs, including 28 one-bedroom villas, two two-bedroom villas, and 17 private residences, each with its own pool. These villas and residences are planned to provide privacy and comfort while taking advantage of the island’s views and landscapes.
Dining and leisure amenities at Six Senses Zil Pasyon will include two restaurants and a bar, offering varied culinary options and relaxed settings for meals and socializing. Guests can shop at on-site retail outlets and use a fully equipped recreation center. A comprehensive spa and fitness center are part of the resort’s wellness offerings, and a communal swimming pool will be available as an additional leisure option.
In addition to leisure facilities, the property will provide flexible meeting and event spaces suitable for board meetings, weddings, and special occasions. These venues aim to accommodate both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations, with service and amenities tailored to each event’s needs.
The resort’s location on Félicité emphasizes easy access to nearby attractions: short boat transfers allow visitors to explore La Digue and Praslin, while Mahé is reached within a relatively short trip. This positioning offers guests the chance to combine secluded island retreat with opportunities to visit nearby islands and beaches.
Six Senses Zil Pasyon is intended to reflect the brand’s focus on sustainability, wellness, and high-end hospitality, delivering an immersive island experience. By integrating comfortable private accommodations, diverse dining options, wellness facilities, and event spaces, the resort aims to appeal to couples, families, and groups seeking an upscale Seychelles escape.
