Singapore Airlines has announced expanded services to Australia, Europe, Southeast Asia and West Asia for the upcoming peak summer travel season to address rising passenger demand.
The carrier will increase capacity to several Australian destinations:
- Melbourne (MEL): three additional weekly flights from July 7, raising frequency from 28 to 31 flights per week.
- Brisbane (BNE): four extra weekly services from August 22, increasing frequency from 24 to 28 flights per week.
- Sydney (SYD): two additional weekly flights from June 4, taking the schedule from 31 to 33 flights per week, with a further boost of four frequencies (to 35 weekly) during the peak period from June 18 to September 30.
European and West Asian routes are also expanded. Rome (FCO) will see services double to four weekly flights beginning in July, while Moscow (DME) will receive an additional weekly service.
In Southeast Asia, frequency increases include:
- Bangkok (BKK): an increase from five to six daily flights starting March 25.
- Ho Chi Minh City (SGN): frequency rising from 17 to 19 flights per week.
Regional and South Asian improvements include one extra weekly flight to Ahmedabad (AMD) beginning March 26, and enhanced service to Dhaka (DAC), where weekly frequencies will increase from seven to 10 starting July 19.
These schedule enhancements aim to provide more travel options and greater capacity across popular routes during the busy summer period, responding to sustained demand growth while supporting connectivity between Singapore and key cities across Australia, Europe, Southeast Asia and West Asia.
