On Saturday, October 5, the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce of Wildwood, N.J., will host the 6th Annual Seafood and Music Festival from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The event takes place along Atlantic Avenue between Wildwood and Schellenger Avenues and offers a full day of live music, seafood, contests, and family-friendly activities.
Festival highlights include a variety of food vendors serving fresh seafood, a clam chowder competition, messy pie-eating contests, and booths with handcrafted goods. Live musical performances feature Frank Bey, The Swing City Blues Band, The Who Knows Band (a tribute to The Who), Green River (a Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute), and the Rocktologists. Admission to the festival is free for all attendees.
The location and programming make this festival a popular fall tradition for locals and visitors alike, combining beachfront community spirit with regional culinary favorites and diverse musical acts. Attendees can expect a casual, family-oriented atmosphere with opportunities to sample chowders, enjoy live bands, browse crafts, and participate in lighthearted competitions throughout the day.
Whether you’re coming for the seafood, the music, or a day out with family and friends, the Greater Wildwood Seafood and Music Festival offers something for everyone and is an accessible, no-cost event on the island’s autumn calendar.
