Scandinavian Airlines Introduces New SAS Go and SAS Plus Fare Classes

Responding to customer demand for a smoother and more time-efficient travel experience, SAS is introducing two streamlined service classes. Starting in June on SAS routes across Europe and Scandinavia, the new classes — SAS Go and SAS Plus — will replace the airline’s current categories.

SAS Go is designed for travelers seeking simplicity and value. The fare includes one checked bag at no extra cost, complimentary coffee or tea onboard and the convenience of mobile check-in.

SAS Plus targets passengers who want extra comfort and time savings. Benefits include two checked bags at no additional charge, access to SAS Fast Track, lounge access prior to departure, onboard meals and drinks, and double EuroBonus points.

“For SAS, simplicity means giving customers exactly what they need,” said Rickard Gustafson, CEO and group president of SAS. “When we developed this concept, we based it on customer needs rather than industry standards.”
