Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch Sells the World’s Most Expensive Cigar

The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch and Fumar Cigars collaborated to showcase one of the world’s most expensive cigars, His Majesty’s Reserve Gurkha, at the resort’s on-site cigar speakeasy, Bachelors Lounge. This limited cigar carries a price tag of $2,000 per cigar.

His Majesty’s Reserve is crafted from aged tobacco and finished with a measure of 40-year-old Louis XIII Rémy Martin Cognac. The blend pairs an 18-year Connecticut Maduro wrapper with a 12-year-old Dominican binder and fillers. Each cigar is presented in a glass tube selected by founder Kaizad Hansotia and sealed with a distinctive green wax.

Seasonal programming, tasting classes, and special events are regularly offered. Guests can choose from indoor and outdoor seating, including a fireplace for cooler evenings.

The resort’s grand lodge architecture complements the mountain setting and encourages outdoor recreation. Additional on-site amenities include Ritz Kids programming, a variety of dining options, The Bachelor Gulch Spa at The Ritz-Carlton, and the Bachelor’s Pack pet program.
