At the eponymous luxury, five-star all-inclusive resort in Saint Lucia, “stolen time” once mainly described couples slipping away to reconnect in sumptuous accommodations. Since rebranding as StolenTime by Rendezvous in late 2022 and opening its doors to all adult guests with a stronger wellness focus, the concept has grown to embrace self-reflection, personal growth and enrichment. Time is our most precious, finite resource, and finding meaningful moments to savor has become central to the resort’s philosophy.

Recognizing the importance of shared time with loved ones, the 100-room property on Malabar Beach introduced Reflection & Renewal Retreats last year. Developed in partnership with trauma specialist Annalie Howling, these weekend retreats support guests dealing with grief, trauma or hardship. Individuals, couples, families and friends participate in curated programming that teaches coping tools, fosters connection and encourages empathy among attendees facing similar experiences. The package also offers access to private virtual Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) sessions with Howling at exclusive rates—a psychotherapy method frequently used to treat trauma and PTSD.

Beyond trauma support, StolenTime has rolled out eight themed wellness months for 2025, each designed to inspire guests to try—or rediscover—hobbies that boost confidence and wellbeing. Summer Serve taps into the surge in racquet sports with tennis masterclasses, pickleball clinics, badminton sessions and racquet camps, all culminating in the Rally Cup Tournament Series. Complementary reflexology and stretching classes help participants stay limber, while Tennis Socials provide a relaxed setting for meeting other guests.
Running from late summer into early fall, Summer Solos is tailored to solo travelers seeking connection and self-discovery through guided excursions, adventure programming, creative workshops, cooking classes and themed dining. Spa discounts and offerings such as massages and guided meditations support inner reflection. Other themed months during 2025 emphasize yoga, fitness swimming and mental wellbeing—particularly strategies for managing stress, nutrition and health during the busy holiday season.
For those seeking a traditional spa experience, The Spa in the Water Garden sits beside a secluded pool amidst lush tropical foliage and radiates calm. Treatments draw inspiration from world traditions, and the spa operates one of only two Ayurvedic centers on the island. Therapists receive training at the resort’s sister property, BodyHoliday, which is widely recognized for its high spa standards. A new 75-minute Living West Indies Signature Facial, designed by a leading London aesthetician, can be customized to skin type and goals.

Signature treatments showcase regional ingredients and traditional techniques. Boreh Boreh blends turmeric, ginger, black pepper, clove and rice powder to gently detoxify and soften dry skin, finished with a conditioning lotion. The Exotic Coconut Milk Wrap begins with a coconut milk brush followed by a cocooning wrap and a mini facial. Udwarthan employs organic herbs for exfoliation and detoxification, ending with a nourishing wrap to restore the skin.
For a comprehensive reset, the Water Garden Escape packages five treatments across five days, including a ginger-and-lime body scrub, head-to-toe massage, muscle-ease body wrap, hand and foot massage, and an Elemis facial tailored to skin needs. Before arrival, the concierge and spa team can design a bespoke wellness plan to match personal goals for the stay.
Accommodations range from tranquil garden-view rooms—where guests can listen to birdsong, tree frogs and cicadas—to beachfront rooms literally on the sand; some ground-floor rooms offer a true toes-in-the-sand experience. All suites are spacious and airy, blending stately colonial features with relaxed Caribbean accents. Signature beachfront cottages boast bamboo floors, cathedral ceilings and ornate fretwork on private terrace balustrades, paired with a nautical palette that keeps the ocean close at hand.
When not at the spa or participating in wellness programming, guests can pursue active diversions such as introductory scuba lessons, wakeboarding, Krav Maga self-defense classes, or a hike up the iconic Gros Piton. The resort even encourages “professional idling”: losing yourself in a book from the on-site exchange by the pool, watching a movie on the beach beneath the stars, or practicing mindful breathing on the lawn. It’s often during these small Stolen Moments that time seems to slow and meaningfully recharge.
